Calender of Events 2012

Below are the tables of the "Calendar of Events" for year 2009 and 2010.

# For Year 2009, the 5.5 days closure would be on 24 Apr, 19 Jun, 1 Sep, 12 Sep (1/2 day), 26 Nov and 18 Dec.
* For public holidays falling on a Sunday, the following Monday will be a public
holiday.
** The Hindu Endowments Board has confirmed that Deepavali in 2009 will fall on 17 October.

# For Year 2010, the 5.5 days closure would be on [day/mth – day/mth], ½ day in
Jul, 1 Sep, a day in Nov/Dec and 17 Dec.
* For public holidays falling on a Sunday, the following Monday will be a public
holiday.
** As Chinese New Year falls on Sunday 14 Feb 2010 and Monday 15 Feb 2010, the next
day, Tuesday 16 Feb 2010, will be a public holiday.
^ The date for Deepavali, 5 Nov 2010, needs to be checked against the Indian
Almanac when it is available. Should there be a change in date, the Ministry of
Manpower will issue a press release to announce the change.
